How your course works
From the shore to the alpine start
First, the equipment is explained to you, along with how to use it correctly. Right after that, you head out onto the lake in the kayak without a paddle.
Once you have gained enough confidence, the spray skirt is closed and, under the professional supervision of the kayak instructor, you learn how to exit the boat. Then the kayak is emptied, and after you have got to know the paddle on land, you learn the basic strokes right on the water.
As a finale and highlight, anyone who likes can do an alpine start from the 3-metre diving board with the kayak.
